Popular Post webfact Posted September 14, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted September 14, 2023 A FORMER senator who is now a well-known politician showed up at Ban Mo police station in Saraburi late last night to surrender over charges of buying sex services from an underage girl but denied the accusation, Matichon newspaper said Thursday afternoon (Sep. 14). Pol. Maj. Gen. Wichit Bunchinwuthikul, Saraburi provincial police chief, said last Monday (Sep. 11) he received a report that a 15-year-old girl, 10th grade student, Suay (pseudonym), had been brought to this police station by her Thai father, Mr. A (pseudonym), 37, and her homeroom teacher to prosecute her Myanmar national real mother, Ms. Ma Miao, 37, who worked as a housekeeper at a resort in this province on the charges of forcing her into prostitution. Pol. Maj. Gen. Wichit said Mr. Bunsong Kerdlam, 58, a former senator and MP candidate for a political party, surrendered at 9 p.m. last night. He denied the charges and used the right of having surrendered to post bail and be temporarily released. Photo: Matichon A FORMER SENATOR of Saraburi has been charged for sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl who had been allegedly forced by her own mother into the flesh trade, police said yesterday (Sep.14). The former senator, namely Boonsong Kerdlum, 58, who had unsuccessfully contested last May’s election for MP of Saraburi under the Pheu Thai tickets, was among five men being charged with perpetrating sexual abuses of the underaged Thai/Myanmar girl at a motel in Baan Mor district of the central province, the police said. Boonsong, a native of Baan Mor district, turned himself in, categorically denied the sexual abuse charge and was released under bail whilst the police have launched investigation into the forced prostitution.
