More than 63,520 hectares of agricultural land in 17 provinces across Thailand, except in the south, have been damaged by recent flooding, according to a report from the National Water Resources Office.

In the northern province of Sukhothai alone, more than 20,960 hectares of farmland, most in the Mueang, Si Samrong and Kong Krailat districts, have been affected, according to satellite images from the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GITSDA).

Flooding has, however, eased since the water level in the Yom River began falling.

And when the floods have gone they'll be damaged by drought.

Sounds like Australia. Add huge bushfires to the mix (wildfires for the American English speakers) and it's defintely Australia.
