A MOVE FORWARD MP who heads the House military committee immediately summoned the navy to explain a new deal to swap an already-purchased, Chinese-built submarine for which a German engine is unavailable for a frigate as mentioned by Defence Minister Suthin Klangsaeng upon his return from China yesterday (Oct. 20), Matichon newspaper said.

ONE MORE Thai worker has died in the Israel-Hamas war raising the death toll to 31 while two have been taken hostage with there now being 19 Thais held captive by Hamas fighters, Naewna and TV Channel 7 said today (Oct. 22).

Former Bangkok school officials under investigation for alleged corruption and misuse of parents’ donations

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) ordered an investigation into allegations of misconduct and corruption against two former senior staff of Wat Suthiwararam School. Today, Niwatchai Kasemmongkol, the Secretary-General of the NACC, revealed that the Commission had identified wrongdoing linked to public service misconduct against Kongwut Paibulsilp, the former school director, and Laddawan Kowajareon Tham, the former deputy director.
