In a peculiar theft attempt that has caught the city's attention, a man, now dubbed the "Underwear Bandit", made an audacious break-in at a renowned gold shop in Udon Thani.

 

Security camera records from the early hours of October 24th showed an audacious individual: a man standing roughly 170cm, dressed merely in a pale short-sleeve top, gloves, a cap, and black briefs, missing pants or footwear. Remarkably, he held a tiny torch in his mouth, reported Daily News.

This bold individual accessed the shop from its rear and tried, without success, to breach the establishment's vault. Yet, he did manage to lift a Samsung cellphone from the display before making his distinctive getaway.

 

The proprietor, Mr. Thanachai, who owns a total of four gold establishments in the vicinity, noted the absence of security personnel at this outlet. Jokingly addressing the brazen bandit, he commented, "If there's something you desire, let me know, and it'll be sorted."

 

The authorities are intensifying their investigations, poring over additional video records, and gathering clues to catch this audacious, scantily-clad intruder.
