Torsak Sukvimol, the commissioner general of the Royal Thai Police and relevant officials paid an official visit to the Pattani Provincial Police station to inspect and follow up on important cases in Pattani. There were police station chiefs from 16 police stations in Pattani and other relevant police officers in Songkhla and Narathiwat who gave each other a warm welcome. Pol. Gen. Torsak had a meeting on the progress of ongoing important cases and provided guidelines for investigating various cases to local police officers. Seeing there is a State of Emergency still in effect in the South since Gen. Prayut's 2014 coup, no warm gathering can be demonstrated by citizens the majority of which are Malay Muslim.
MarcelV Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 The state of emergency has been in place since way before Prayut. I believe since around 2004. Don't blame Lung Tuu for the situation. Thaksin and his puppets are the ones who created this mess.
