Logging Off

Basically when it logs off, I can't use the internet.

This happens every 10-15 minutes, does anyone have similar problem to this?

i don't have the problem, but i've one better, an IPSTAR gateway and an engineer with a clue. Just showed him your message. He said most likely it's a problem with your indoor unit or dish alignment. Your provider will have cause logs on their gateway, so can troubleshoot a bit better.

If you've only had it for 3 months, then in monsoon season you could also be experiancing "rain-fade" atmospheric interference. If you have UBC you,ll notice that dropping off occasionally - UBC & IPSTAR use the same waveband, so if your telly drops out, you're most likely to also be offlined.

I'll give you a case we had as an example. We hade one site that would drop off daily from 10am until 2/3pm. Troubleshooting for months until we had to send up a tech. After a few days he came back with the cause, and solved the customers problems.

"Dont rig up your washing line to the feedhorn any more......."

anyways, get on the blower to your ISP and log a trouble ticket.

Best of luck, and keep us posted.
