webfact Posted November 5, 2023 Share Posted November 5, 2023 In a shocking display of jealousy, a young Burmese man fatally wounded himself after assaulting his wife with scissors. The incident occurred on November 5, in Samrong Nua, Bangkok, where the couple resided. The husband, Pee, 29, had become suspicious when his wife went out to wash clothes, suspecting her of speaking to another man. Their argument escalated upon her return, leading to the tragic assault, reported Daily News. Picture: Daily News At the scene, authorities found Pee with fatal stab wounds to his chest, efforts to resuscitate him proved futile. Inside their room, disarray and blood trails painted a gruesome picture, signaling a violent struggle. The wife, Kham Ing, 27, was also injured in the attack, sustaining a torn arm and head wounds, and was previously transported to a local hospital. The investigation revealed the husband locked the room to confront his wife over the alleged infidelity before attacking her with scissors. She managed to defend herself until neighbours intervened. Police have documented the scene, taken photographs for evidence, and the husband's body has been sent for forensic examination to proceed with legal actions. spidermike007 Posted November 6, 2023 Share Posted November 6, 2023 How on earth does one stab themself in the chest, and if this story is correct, and if it is accurate, and if it is true, what kind of level of desperation is required to stab yourself in your own chest? What kind of a man loses his mind over jealousy and the thought that his wife might be flirting with somebody? Who are these people, and why is their self esteem so absent? I remember some research that I read quite some time ago, that suggested if people have very little in terms of property, really their honor is all they have. They lack the capacity to deal with situations on an intellectual basis. Thus, violence is their means of communication.
