Thieves Steal Internet Cables in Pattaya

Pattaya — Two thieves stole internet cables, resulting in the disruption of an internet connection for a house in Pattaya and causing great fear for the homeowner.


The victim, known only as Ms. Too, chose to keep her identity confidential as she shared the distressing incident with reporters from The Pattaya News.

 

According to Ms. Too, two Thai men, aged about 30-40 years old, targeted her residence in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 11th at 3:35 AM.

In the past they harvested mangoes etc.; in having moved into the 21st century it is cable harvesting time....... as long as copper and aluminium fetches premiums in the recycling market ....... where nobody asks about the origin of the ware being offered ;-)

Paranoid or what! She lost her internet connection and is living in fear and is afraid to give her name because of it?

Just one small point.

Internet plus telephone landline is all fibre-optics these days.

Glass is worthless.

Because of this it's possible she was targeted for some reason.

Who else lost their connection?
