A tragic incident took place at 9.30am today when an 18-wheel truck collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the death of a local street vendor. The event occurred on the temporary two-lane road in front of the Luang Por Utama temple, in the city of Chachoengsao.

The police and emergency medical services from the Buddha Sothon Hospital were promptly on the scene.

The road, a relatively new construction, was the scene of devastation. The deceased, identified as Boonrueng, a 44 year old woman, was found with her helmet crushed under the rear wheels of the truck.

Her brain matter was scattered across the road, indicating a fatal head injury. The middle wheels of the truck had a piece of the motorcycle’s exhaust pipe wedged underneath, signifying the impact of the collision.
