I did not put any link the first time because it has been posted so many times in threads you participated in. I assumed it was common knowledge for you.

I didn't edit anything. I just replied in my own words. By specifying both pre pandemic and G7 you are making comparisons difficult. Other economies are smaller and suffer after black swan events for much longer than the US.
