“Thailand will exceed target of 27 million arrivals” for 2023

Thailand is set to exceed its target of 27 million foreign arrivals this year, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand. However, it’s also set to fall short of its target of 1.6-trillion baht in tourism revenue. It might be the first target set by the TAT that is actually achieved in the past three years.

PRIME MINISTER-cum-Finance Minister Srettha Thavisin said this afternoon (Dec. 7) that talks are being held to set electricity rate at 4.10 baht per unit during January-April 2024 after Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) proposed hiking it to 4.68 baht a unit, Naewna newspaper said.
