Fugitive Involved in a 12-Year-Old Murder Case Captured on Koh Samui

I lived on Samui for nearly a decade. I knew people who bragged about being fugitives, I knew guys who had friends that were fugitives from the law. Samui was considered one of the best places in the world to stay if you were wanted by the law. I don't know if that reality still exists to this day, but it sure did for a long time. The police are your friends on Samui, as long as you have cash. They are some of the most corrupt in Thailand.

Don't want to sound like a broken record is there no time statute on murder or only vehicular homicide when you unknowingly drag your victim 100s of metres :whistling:

Yes the time statue is 20yrs for murder in Thailand, how much longer do you need to hide out?

In normal countries like the UK their is no time limit and they still catch people or find out who the murderer was after 30+ yrs.
