TheBangkokian
Am sure someone can give me a quick n simple response on this. Just arrived on 30 day stamp and now find need to stay 15 days longer than the stamp's expiry. Am in Sathorn, nearby Suanphlu immigration. Despite having had multiple work permits, never been in this situation. Easy to get extension and can get at Suanphlu? Thanks!
Caldera
It isn't possible (and hasn't been since many years) to get such an extension at the Suan Phlu office. As you've entered visa exempt, you'll need to go to immigration's IT Square Laksi office.
DrJack54
OP, as @Caldera pointed out you will need to attend LakSi immigration IT square. You can use the Red Line now. Appointments available You most likely require a TM30. Print shop to left side of entry to immigration
dddave
If OP is staying in a hotel, usually the front desk can furnish you with a copy of their immigration report when you checked in. This will satisfy the TM-30 requirement.

Anyone entering Thailand on visa exempt or tourist visa and plan to apply for 30 day extension should ask hotel if they can provide screenshot of TM30. If NO...Don't check in. TheBangkokian
I'm staying in a major reputable chain but they say cannot provide TM30. But they are preparing a letter confirming my current non extended stay. Will this be ok?
TheBangkokian
I went to another hotel in same group to meet with the Group reservations manager. He was not surprised that the on site staff in my location could not produce this, but he told them what to do and hey presto!
