singhkorn in prachuap immigration trip??

Featured Replies

Is it still open to do visa runs there?   I haven't been through since the plandemic.   Anyone have any info on this place?

Probably just for locals if it is open:

"The Singkhorn Pass is only open for Myanmar and Thai residents travelling either way for up to two days. It connects Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan (Thailand) with a very remote part Myanmar's Tanintharyi Division (nearest large town Myeik, although this would take over one day's travel)."

No mention of being open on local forum.  Even the market itself has been a dead zone for years.  Was out there last month, on a Saturday, and not much has changed.

So I do reside in Samut Sakhon, but for now am here on a tourist 30 day ticket, So if I understand you, I would not be able to cross the border here and re enter the Kingdom on a new 30 day ticket.

As far as I know this point has never been open for visa hops. Nearest place would have been Pu nam ron in Kanchanaburi but not sure if it has reopened yet.

Thanks for the feedback,  I think I am just going to go to Da Nang for a couple of days and then come back.

I do my 90-day reporting there and it is very fast, but they don't do one-year visas.
