New years eve. Anyone know if the Filipino band that played at Toy bar on second road is still around?

After countless NYEs with bad entertainment we found this to be the best way to bring in the new year. Before covid it was clearly the best venue. The guitarist was excellent. Anyway, I haven't seen him/them anywhere since and would like to track them down if they're still around.

A pal of mine frequents this bar as he enjoys the Fillipino band as to the guitarist I do not know...

Don't know where your band is, but if you want good entertainment on NYE and like the Beatles, these guys are great.

Back when I used to have to interview prospective employees, one of the questions I would ask if the candidate was looking promising was, out of the blue, of course: “Revolver or Sgt Pepper's?“. Best way to check if they're actually human of not.

 

I like the Beatles. I do prefer harder stuff. The guitarist I'm trying to track down could exactly mimic any rock guitarist.
