snoop1130 Posted December 29, 2023 Share Posted December 29, 2023 On December 28th, 2023, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) officials publicly stated that CNN International, an American news channel, chose Wat Arun, Bangkok, as a live broadcast location to represent Thai identity under the concept “Wichit Arun” on New Year’s Eve Live celebrations. Wichit Arun is a highlight to promote tourism activities in December 2023 by TAT at Nagaraphirom Park, Bangkok as a celebration night on December 31st. The fireworks will be displayed under the theme of Wichit Arun divided into nine acts showcasing Thai identity. Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, famously known shortly as Wat Arun, is one of the spectacular landmarks in Thailand known for its prestige and religious center. A local newspaper today featured "one-day trips" around BKK. Guess what? Every single one was a temple. I am pretty sure that CNN's NYE show will begin at 8 am new years day here...
