I remember years back when Canada was one of the earlier marriage equality nations that many Americans want to go up there to marry each other even though that wouldn't have been recognized in the U.S.. Before too long, Canada cut that off.
No currently married, but like I said we are getting married at the end of this year.
I probably didnt explain it properly, I meant is an invitation letter stating that I will be living with her accepted by immigration, no im not over 50 so I cannot get a retirement visa.
If i get married on a visa exemption, I cannot convert to non-o visa because I do not have a Thai bank account yet.
Im just trying to work out what I need to do in what order.
