Trump says he hopes economy crashes in next 12 months: ‘I don’t want to be Herbert Hoover’

I agree, and and IMHO if Trump doesn't want to be involved in the aftermath, then all he has to is withdraw his nomination.

I honestly don't think that he will.

Will the US crash? I really don't know.

Under President Biden I don't think so, but the gop IMHO, is so blinded by a hatred of the Democrats and a lust for power with Trump in charge, that they may try to make it happen under President Biden and blame him for it.

More than likely Saudi Arabia or Russia would also foment havoc a few months before the election. Not to mention the bots coming again.

Yet another stupid post by the man thats has everyone ignore, as he believes, like Trump, his is always right.   How long is it going to take for those fooled by this conman to look at them

  • The republican strategy ever since Biden won has been to shut down government funding to cause a crash in the economy. They figure that the uninformed great unwashed will blame Biden and vote for Trum

Try doing that with him!

There is no point as only his first response is accurate according to him and nothing you or anyone else posts will ever change his original stance.

I have been on the forum many years and very few people ever change their stance.

Try looking at yourself in the mirror and saying the same thing.

I have changed a few of my opinions over the years, but mostly the opinions stay the same.

Probably due to getting older though not necessarily wiser.

I wondered who Trump's speech writer was since I figured he didn't come up with the presidential history on his own. Now I know.

Last month, Biden said, “In the four years Donald Trump was president — and he’s the only president other than Herbert Hoover who actually lost jobs in a four-year period. And that’s why I often re- — think of him as Donald ‘Herbert Hoover’ Trump.”

Thank you for your polite response.

You may notice from my posts that I am defending his corner and that I am the only one to do so.

If you don't like his posts and/or don't agree with them, why bother to read them? You are fairly sure that you won't agree with his response, so simply pass them by. I do on many other posts from other posters and I feel it makes my life easier.

If you don't respond to any of his posts what have you lost?

Thanks, yes I do try not replying to his posts, but there are so many of them every day. 55555

But everyday he post multiple times on threads I read, and not only posts nonsense, he likes to play the victim, claim others abuse him, and sometimes I just have to reply.

I will try harder to avoid. I mostly try to only post on subjects I have the knowledge  and experience, and try to back you my comments with links.

So thank you for your comment, and yes I will have to bite my lip harder. 55555

Are you talking about yourself?

You have made similar post on many threads in the last few hours!

I suggest YOU stop playing the Mod!

Back on topic, trump did nothing to move the economy forward, he was just lucky Obama did an excellent job.

Biden has dmoved things forward again.

Trump doesn't care about America, he cares about himself. He is a narcissist who doesn't want to lose. And to top it off the presidency is one way to save him from prison.

But who decides what are the facts and what is the truth.

You, me, Earl in, TBL

The truth to most people is what they want to believe.

Take Trump as an example.

He obviously believes that he speaks the truth, even when facts and fact checking says he is wrong.

IMO he is wrong, but IHO he is right and he believes his version as much as you believe in your version.

@billd766

So there's no such thing as reality? No facts?

Didn't take you for a nihilist.

@billd766

Sometimes the point of a response is not to change the poster's mind, that's obviously not going to happen with some people.

But countering falsehoods, misleading comments, outright lies, exaggerations and so on? That's totally on.

My tongue still has teeth marks from some posters when I had to bite it to stop being very rude.

There are a few threads that I cannot be bothered to open as I can't stand the posters and if I open and read them, my blood will boil and my BP will sky rocket.

Nowadays, not only do I look at the thread title, but also who the OP is.

Think I should follow your advice.

I have mellowed as I got older, but still a little way to go yet.

Yes fully agree.

He is not just turning on his own society, he is turning on himself. All the problems about life he likes to moan about, were caused by himself, but his lack of critical thinking, means he is unable to see it and wants to blame everyone else.

Just because many people don't believe him does not make him wrong, nor does it make you right.

His opinion is his opinion is his opinion, just the same as your opinion is yours, and my opinion is mine. He like you, I, and everybody else has the same right to post here.

If you don't like his post then ask him to explain it, and if you still disagree with his answer, then say why you disagree with it.

Sometimes I agree with his posts and sometimes I disagree, That doesn't make either of us right or wrong. It is simply that our opinions differ.

HAHAHA... never in a million years can you explain that to a democrap and the "liberal" left... if it's not their way it's the highway mentality has shrunken their brains.

Yeah nah, the left provide links to arguments so they are statistically more often right, having done the research. The right, not so much.

Yes, he would make a perfect Dunning Kruger research candidate.

I believe he is still trying to climb to point 1, and is never going to get there.

He lacks the critical  thinking and intellectual abilities to reach point 1, because his alternative reality, is the empty echo chamber, where only his opinion is right, and facts, the truth and others who do not agree are placed on ignore.

He is only a sample of one Earl, and I can assure you that the USA is looked upon as a "partner" by NZ, even sharing the "five eyes" intelligence/defence relationship.......

"The Five Eyes alliance is an intelligence network established post-World War II between the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Its genesis lies in the post-war 1946 UKUSA Agreement, intended as a cooperative arrangement for sharing signals intelligence (SIGINT)".

I am a New Zealander and have absolutely no problem with anyone from the US, apart from Trump and his idiot followers.

I can assure you that the USA is looked upon as a "partner" by NZ, even sharing the "five eyes" intelligence/defence relationship.......

NZ better hope that the US is a partner given we abandoned any pretense of a real military years ago. Without the US to protect us we can just paint some "welcome to our overlords" signs.

Given that we didn't let their ships in because of the No Nukes policy, we are lucky that they didn't just tell us to get lost.

This entire topic is filled with insults against one poster, Thaibeachlover. I'm not sure how these posters avoid being in violation of the AN's rules and standards. This isn't some bash easy topic in General or Community Lounge fora. It's in a World News forum, and its been turned into an assault on one member.

55555 are you jealous you have not on his ignore list or you after a new job as forum mod?

The poster posted in the thread and never comes back to back up his statements, hence why he annoys people.

Enjoy your day.

No wonder you get a bad press on here!

No doubt the Trump haters will accuse him of wanting a crash, when he means that he thinks there will be one and he doesn't want to be president when it starts.

Looking at the US it's probably fair to expect that the economy will crash, but as usual that may or may not happen depending on a lot of things.

It would be ironic if Biden wins only to suffer from a crash that he caused.

You missed the point that Trump wants a crash before November. That is a really stupid thing to say.

  • Popular Post

More evidence that Trump is truly a traitor.

One of Europe's most senior politicians recounted how former U.S. President Donald Trump privately warned that America would not come to the EU's aid if it was attacked militarily.

"You need to understand that if Europe is under attack we will never come to help you and to support you," Trump told European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in 2020, according to French European Commissioner Thierry Breton, who was also present at a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

"By the way, NATO is dead, and we will leave, we will quit NATO," Trump also said, according to Breton.
