15 children injured during emergency bridge demonstration in Satun

Fifteen children sustained minor injuries when a sling holding an emergency bridge snapped, sending it and its occupants crashing onto the ground, during a Children’s Day exhibition in Khuan Don district of the southernmost province of Satun.

Patong Police Apprehend Colombian Snatch Thief Targeting Russian Tourist

20.5% fewer passengers on BTS extensions after start of fare collection

The number of people using the two extensions of BTS Green Line train service has dropped by about 20.5%, from 340,000 to 270,000 a day, since the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) started collecting fares on January 2nd.

Tragic accident post-Children’s Day event claims life of one sister, leaves two unconscious

On a sorrowful Children’s Day, three young sisters were involved in a fatal accident after returning from a late-night event where they had been hoping to win prizes. The incident occurred around 12.30am today when the motorcycle they were riding collided with an electricity pole in Prachin Buri province.

Yoko, a prominent Thai model, was found dead in her condominium following an argument at a party with her boyfriend. The incident took place on November 1 last year. The autopsy report showed the presence of cyanide in her body, which has led to doubts about the cause of her death.

On Friday, the Israeli Ambassador to Thailand, Ms Orna Sagiv, was at hand as a 3 week Tuk Tuk publicity campaign was launched to remind the public about the remaining hostages still in captivity.
