I have an IBM Thinkpad T21 which is a very nice little machine. I would like to install a wireless card for Internet use.

How do I do this, would I need an expert to install the card or is it just a matter of slotting it in?

Any ideas where I could get this done in Chiang Mai?

You can install PCMCIA card (expensive) or a USB dongle (cheaper) both will give the same functionality. My choice is USB wireless. All you need to do is to install it through the accompanying driver CD (not sure if they have linux drivers) and setup the network and here you go.
