So, everywhere except Bangkok?

Especially does not equate to solely.

There are plenty in BKK too but they can blend in more with the general population.

The provinces, not so much.

Wow. Have never heard of carting a murder victim around on a motorcycle before.
Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭

I can imagine it would look like a scene from Weekend at Bernies.

He didn't "flee to Pattaya",  he went to visit a friend suffering from cancer and then returned home a couple of days later.

Thaiexaminer said he went to Pattaya.

I didn't post that he didn't go to Pattaya, I said that he didn't "flee" to Pattaya, his friend, whom he allegedly visited, was in Pattaya.

Gambling certainly is. It's destroyed so many families in Thailand.

Thais are so gullible they will gamble theirs and others money away just on the strength of lucky numbers. If all numbers are lucky why does the biggest proportion of lottery not go to the ticket buyers, instead the majority of the lottery money goes to the lottery organisers.

You mis understand.

You say "Provinces". Therefore, all over Thailand. Bangkok is the only place in Thailand not deemed to be in a province.

Or did you mean something else?

Generally speaking, if one commits a murder and subsequently leaves the area hurriedly, it would be considered fleeing

It's actually, "The love of money is the root of all evil"

The full version taken from

Timothy 6:10 of the Bible is...

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

Absolutely correct IMO,and I'm not a Christian.

100 percent of everything he owned and she was working on the second one.  Wow she was a busy lady.

She inherited upon her first husband's death. That would be a legal agreement. Happens everyday snd everywhere. Nothing about what %%%% of his estate she received.

Working on the second one? It's seems he was the one doing the working on.

It amazes me how often the Police here get a confession, as opposed to Europe. Do they use force of any kind, as if someone was prepared to murder their spouse, I would have thought they would not crack at a police questioning.

Whatever way they used,...??....he brought them to the body !!! so, he is guilty !!

Finally, Thailand has turned into a mafia country both in the "domestic" services including the mafia insurance coverage of doctors and "tourists" permanently residing in Thailand. The Thai female national was a "professional" escort girl specializing in Swiss citizens.

Congratulation to Royal Thai Police Officers who clean up promptly this horrible "case".

RIP. Perhaps she  wouldn't share her inheritance with him

So what?

It was HER inheritance, so she could do what SHE wanted to do with it, and NOT his money at all.

Ah... illegal gambling, and a gambling addicted wife, is at the root of this sorry saga. Probably in grubby but well organised " casinos" in the sticks, where they abound, even at funeral parties. The plod rarely  do anything about them. Why not? (rhetorical question).  1 million baht can be lost in just a few weeks and then the debts to loansharks multiply and go unpaid. He went too far in the heat of their last argument of probably many because he was watching his and her future going rapidly down the drain. Now it certainly has for them both. I feel sorry for him.

Why are you sorry for somebody who killed his wife.

It was HER money, and hers alone, to do with as she wished and NOT his money or their money,

When the brain pops. Addictions also dont make it good. Guess the couple will have had more fights.

Then the fight really got out of control and ended up in death.

How many men didnt think about killing his wife when the wife came up with a divorce suggestion?

Or even, a college of mine, killed himself.

You never can tell what you would do in a bad situation. It depends on how your brain pops at that moment and you act.

Maybe you red the situation of Thai father who had to decide killing his son (drug addict) and did. Killing your own son for your own protection!

Or a Thai father killing his own daughter and son in law, as in a dispute.

Or something bigger, a president kills his own people. Not one or two, but lots.

Pop goes the brain.
