Tucker Carlson Goes to Moscow?

Featured Replies

In a development that has stirred anticipation within the pro-Kremlin circles, Tucker Carlson, a prominent conservative commentator, or someone bearing a remarkable resemblance to him, has allegedly been sighted in Moscow. A Telegram channel with reported ties to Russian law enforcement asserted that Carlson had flown into Moscow from Istanbul, sharing photos supposedly depicting his presence at an airport and attending a ballet performance at the Bolshoi Theater.

While there's no official confirmation, the speculation has fueled hopes that Carlson might conduct an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This potential interview is being heralded as an epochal event by pro-Kremlin pundits, with suggestions that it could mark Putin's first sit-down interview with a Western journalist since the launch of the "special military operation" against Ukraine nearly two years ago. The prospect of Carlson, a known sympathizer of Russia, engaging with Putin has triggered excitement, with the belief that it could provide the Russian president a platform to address a wider Western audience.

In a previous interview with Die Weltwoche in September, Carlson had mentioned attempting to interview Putin but claimed that the U.S. government had thwarted his efforts. This recent development has reignited speculation about the possibility of an exclusive interview between the conservative polemicist and the Russian president.

Yeah.  I'm going to go with my standard, "Lack of curiosity is not a virtue".

Seems the globalists would prefer blind, deaf and dumb compliance.

Edit:  Here's where I expect he'll post the interview (if it happens).  There are several great long format interviews in the various sections.  Some solid, some way out there.  I just hope the Putin interview doesn't go behind a paywall.

And what a great opportunity for the entire world to catch him in a lie.  Or maybe not...

Alternatively he could be there to play his part in Russian interference in the U.S. 2024 election.

Can't the US cancel his citizenship? The US is effectively at war with Russia. This jerk is clearly abetting the Russian cause here. While he has a free speech right to do so, it doesn't detract from the fact that he is doing so. He is a traitor.

He is better known as an American conservative political commentator than a journalist. If indeed he get the interview, it will just be parroting Russian state propaganda. Hope he is in Moscow to attend the Boishoi Threater performance as reported.

The entire maga movement is supporting our enemy so why single out Tucker?

No citizenship can't be canceled even for traitors.

A prominent exiled Russian Putin critic's perspective. He wisely doesn't get into the positioning of Tucker in the US political context.

Tucker just did a great interview with Russell Brand, to put the record straight as far as Russell's supposed sexual harassments and rapes. I can't see any leader agreeing to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson, he's way too smart for them and they would look like idiots. What's great about him is he asks a question and then lets the interviewee answer while he listens. He interrupts much less than so many interviewers do. And he researches carefully. Having said that no leader would want to be interviewed by him, Putin seems unafraid of long sessions with questions and may be the one to go for it. I can't see that Tucker was there for a holiday. But maybe he was going to do a serious interview with Medvedev. Which would make a great podcast.

He isn't a journalist, and I don't believe he has ever been one....possibly in his very early career. He comments on political issues and says things people don't want to hear, like what a bunch of nonsense this DEI/woke business is. Unlike other political commenters he is not a ranter or four-brand, but a thoughtful individual who is a good debater and usually knows his stuff, especially history better than his interviewees. I like him, but he says things I do cringe at, as well as things that need to be said.

Of course we are, I have read your posts and have come to the conclusion you rely exclusively propaganda in the western media for your thoughts. You never think too actually read what your enemies or competitors =say input a situation, you just swallow the propaganda raw and uncooked. Pointless to debate someone like you, so please don't respond.

Great idea. He'd be very welcome. A fellow "conservative" American barber would surely give him free haircuts.

He picks hot button issues which trigger conservatives and appeal to their fear and loathing. He is deeply involved in the outrage industry and is nothing other than a profiteer off misery. And he's an abject racist. To the core.

No one tells lies all the time and no one tells the truth all the time either. If you only believe what comes out of the governments of the wets you are missing half of the story.
