The first 2 are far left. He didn't like them. The last one he got bored with. He probably has $50m in assets. He doesn't need a job.

He might have got bored, he was fired.

Assets are less important than expenditures. There are many rich people who have bankrupted themselves with drugs, gambling and women. You can't know he does not need a job.

CNN and MSNBC are far left? That has me wondering what you would make of MSM in Australia.

The mere mention of socialism seems to get many Americans frothing at the mouth. We have had socialist governments on and off in Australia since Federation. They are, more often than not, the governments that introduce major reforms.

He is married, doesn't do drugs. I doubt he really needs a job. Most people who work on prime time TV get fired a couple of times based on ratings or offending someone.

Tucker is a journalist in the same way Alex Jones is a journalist, which is to say he's not. He's an entertainer, or as Jones' lawyer told the court when Jones was sued over his Sandy Hook idiocy, a Performance Artist. When Tucker got sued his lawyer used a similar defense, which was to say, "Nobody should believe anything Tucker says".

Tucker is a trust fund baby, his mother heir to the Swanson TV dinner fortune (very bad ultra processed 'food'). Despite being the epitome of white privilege, Tucker could not get accepted at any Ivy League university, which was the goal of many back when he was that age. Tucker was also dinged from acceptance to the State Department and CIA.

He had a journeyman career as a political pundit, his schtick being a mildly-irritating nerd-type wearing a bowtie. He never found any great success until he went full Performance Artist and aligned himself with the far right and white supremacist movement, and dropped the bowtie. He's very big on the Replacement Theory, where 'superior' cultures are being destroyed by too much immigration (kind of like all the Western expats who come to settle in Thailand).

Tucker's MO is to give a characteristic puzzled look when any guest or interviewee says something rational or sane.

Most people from London think that's true.

Fascist.

Which is why other world fascists like Trump, Orban, and Carlson are attracted to him.

Opinion | Russia’s War on Ukraine Shows That It Is Fascist - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Fascism was never defeated as an idea.

As a cult of irrationality and violence, it could not be vanquished as an argument: So long as Nazi Germany seemed strong, Europeans and others were tempted. It was only on the battlefields of World War II that fascism was defeated. Now it’s back — and this time, the country fighting a fascist war of destruction is Russia. Should Russia win, fascists around the world will be comforted.

Putin is an autocrat and Russian nationalist. That’s how the communist dream ends, in dictatorship and oppression. He’s no more far left than the National Socialists in Germany were under Hitler, or the CCP is now.

He’s systematically enriched himself and his cronies by plundering the nations wealth. And he’s  trapped - if he ever loses power that will be taken off him and he’ll be suicided or dumped in the Gulag. He can never give up, and will never survive a loss in Ukraine. if he does survive expect more wars, in Europe.

Trump and Putin have similar in common.

Putin loses power and he's dead.

Trump fails to gain power again and he's imprisoned for life.

There's a lot of buzz about Tucker Carlson running for Vice President.

I'm not sure if its for the US or Russia.

Fake news.

Clearly, Tucker Carlson does not have the best interests in America in mind.

His lies on FOX News were intended to support the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen.

You mean propaganda such as stating that Putin invaded Ukraine, has been bombing civilian, has muzzled and jailed opponents... that kind of propaganda?

What many people don't seem to realize is the money going into Ukraine from the USA and Europe is money well spent, in terms of preventing a wider conflict. Nobody in their right mind would expect Putin to stop if he won in Ukraine, he has repeatedly stated his desire to restore the Soviet Union to its former glory.

The Chinese are enjoying the situation. They are getting cheap oil, while eyeing the riches of Siberia. IIRC, one of the Tom Clancy books, "The Bear and the Dragon" predicts that scenario.

A series of entirely off-topic and bickering posts having nothing to do with Tucker Carlson and his supposed trip to Russia have been removed.

Putin is a neoCommunist.

As are many of his followers in the US and abroad.

Yeah.  I'm going to go with my standard, "Lack of curiosity is not a virtue".

Seems the globalists would prefer blind, deaf and dumb compliance.

Edit:  Here's where I expect he'll post the interview (if it happens).  There are several great long format interviews in the various sections.  Some solid, some way out there.  I just hope the Putin interview doesn't go behind a paywall.

Could his firing possibly have something to do with old rupee having to shell out almost a billion dollars to pay for the Lying this dirt bag was selling?anyway I think trumpy should tag along he can visit his master Putin get tips on how to turn a nation into one big cash cow then perhaps pop down to N Korea and pay his love interest a visit……..don’t forget to pack those thumb drives Donnie you Know the ones were you photo graphed the documents you stole

Really crazy as voiced in the video.

Moscow and to some extent St. Petersburg are bubbles for Russian elites.

You can't judge what's happening in Russia from those places.

Maybe Tucker is auditioning for VP pick.

America appears to have established a minor tradition of getting presidents from the entertainment industry. Reagan was an actor, Trump a TV celebrity.

Here's a scenario to give everyone pause.

Trump picks Tucker as his VP, and gets re-elected. Before Trump can get going on his mission of vengeance, he dies from choking on a Big Mac. Carlson becomes president.

The propagandist in Russia.

I know all about nazi sympathizers before ww2, but to compare Trump voters to them is nonsense. Suggest you stop believing the propaganda machine that is the democratic party.

Please explain the difference to me.

Here's a similarity - both worship a charismatic leader with maniacal ideas. Both leaders talk about racial purity, and white supremacy.
