Hasn't this situation happen many times before - with the shoe on the other foot.

 

America (with other countries) goes to war with Korea.  Russia (mainly) supplies weapons etc to the north, = war is fought to a deadlock.

America (mainly) goes to war with Vietnam-- Russia -China supplies weapons etc to the North  = America Losses

America (Mainly) goes to war with Afghanistan---Russia (Mainly) Supplies weapons etc  = America losses.

 

It's part of the American Political think--that the fighting should remain inside the boarders of Ukraine

Hence the type of weapons that are being supplied (not the longer range rockets asked for)  and when a target in Russia (oil depot etc) is attacked Ukraine does not usually take the credit for it.

 

I do not see America effectively at war with Russia.

The US has provided billions in weapons, logistical, training and intelligence to Ukraine. How do you not see it "effectively" at war with Russia?

He's probably too white and "elite" for that. Most of Putin's cannon fodder are from far provinces from Moscow of Russian minorities.

since when are republicans interested in evidence....a stack of evidence a mile high on trumps crimes along with testimony from multiple former trumpers is all fake of course....not to mention 60 court cases and piles of evidence of recount and investigation after investigation that prove the election was not rigged.  Yet republicans are convinced the evidence means absolutely nothing unless of course they were to find some innocent phone call between joe biden and hunter biden then stop the presses as it "MAY" mean that something happened even though they have no evidence.

Highly doubtful Trump will pick Tucker Carlson regardless of where he travels.

Amazes me the state of the USA at present. In days gone by a Russian shill like Carlson would be ostracised and condemned. Putin’s war against the West began when he took over as President, the KGB never stopped whilst we were all under the illusion that the Cold War was over. The book “Putin’s People” by Catherine Belton is the best researched out there, and I’d recommend it to anyone. 
 

Trump met Putin, and left the room looking like Putin had him on a leash. Head bowed, like a servant. Carlson is on that same team. It’s a sad spectacle to watch … and a danger to our world. Kompromat at work would be my guess. The MAGA crowd have been brainwashed, it won’t end well.

Correct. The border issue has been linked to Ukraine funding in order to stop it. They couldn’t care less about the border, it’s a red herring to disguise their underlying objective … help Russia by denying Ukraine funding.
