And just to note, a defendant in a criminal trial cannot be called by the prosecution to testify. If the defendant chooses to voluntarily testify in his/her own defense, then he/she cannot invoke the 5th amendment on the stand during any cross-examination. And in the NY civil trial Trump invoked the 5th during a mandatory deposition. It was not invoked while on the stand. A former friend of Fani Willis in the DA's office, she was fired for bad performance and is still angry. She doesn't remember any details. Bad witness. Next! Update: Attorney Terrence Bradley was supposed to testify that he witnessed Wade and Willis in a romantic relationship. Instead, he declined to testify. Oops. In the Real World, there are a lot of reactions from women, who are new Fani Willis supporters. The hearings seem to have struck a nerve. Lots of style points for Ms. Willis. The one witness against Fani Willis didn't seem to have a lot of credibility, especially given the circumstances of her firing by Fani Willis.
