Viral images reveal a pickup truck carrying excessive load splitting in half at an intersection. The incident of overloading causing stir online.

Yet another viral sensation spreading across the online world right now. Following a post by the Facebook page "Mee Dan Ubon Ratchathani," stating, "Carrying too much corn, at the Big Chiwarin Intersection," accompanied by an image of a pickup truck overloaded beyond its limits, resulting in the vehicle splitting in half, reported Daily News.

Upon investigation, it was found that the incident occurred on February 12th, as the pickup truck, loaded with crates of fruits, was unable to bear the weight, causing it to split in half at the intersection of Nong Ta Phoan, Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

Nevertheless, after the circulation of these images, netizens poured in with various comments such as:

Whether to pity or to find it amusing.
That load is enough to flip an eighteen-wheeler.
Fighting hard for life but life fights back.
I think it's about time for a well-deserved break. Been working hard for over 20 years.
Found it at the red light just right. Good that no one got hurt, everything's safe. But it's quite pitiful...

Thanks to the images and information from @MeeDan Ubon Ratchathani."

i mean the story. try to keep up.

on a side note aussies must be doing all kinds of things right too if they are breaking down there. trucks generally can carry the recommended load no matter where they are built. overloaded trucks no so much.

What? Better to weld a solid line everywhere possible and just maybe it will work next time. :cheesy:

Not transport owned and driven by you.

Had it happened to you, or anyone else of the AN "community", it would have been a very different "story".

Thai netizen "outrage" would have been very much in evidence.

That is a fairly obvious comment to make. Farangs are not allowed to drive pickups for that kind of business, trucks or buses! And western transport is properly policed across the board. Here in Thailand…………..????????
There is plenty of Thai netizen outrage over this incident anyway.

A few spot welds  down to the DLT  for a quick check back on the road again

Rules & warnings always in  conflict with common sense on the highways & byways of Thailand.

No reason for the chassis not to be fixed if welded properly.

Foreigners sure are permitted to drive pickups, regardless of what is being carried, as long as they are not working.

Yes, I agree but you find me a foreigner that would be driving a pickup with the loads like this and NOT be working.
