i mean the story. try to keep up.

on a side note aussies must be doing all kinds of things right too if they are breaking down there. trucks generally can carry the recommended load no matter where they are built. overloaded trucks no so much.

Thais will test everything to the extreme.

A pickup designed for say .one tonne load, will be loaded 10.

Then they will race down the road at max speed.

Preferably drunk.

On a wet asphalt.

Did I forget something? 😵‍💫

Black exhaust emmisions belching out ?

Nahhh, no problem , we can fix that.

A couple of spot  welds and it will be good as new,

What? Better to weld a solid line everywhere possible and just maybe it will work next time. :cheesy:

That's why they have warnings and rules as to how much a vehicle can carry....

Which can be blatantly flaunted by all forms of transport as This Is Thailand!!

Not transport owned and driven by you.

Had it happened to you, or anyone else of the AN "community", it would have been a very different "story".

Thai netizen "outrage" would have been very much in evidence.

That is a fairly obvious comment to make. Farangs are not allowed to drive pickups for that kind of business, trucks or buses! And western transport is properly policed across the board. Here in Thailand…………..????????
There is plenty of Thai netizen outrage over this incident anyway.

Rules & warnings always in  conflict with common sense on the highways & byways of Thailand.

Foreigners sure are permitted to drive pickups, regardless of what is being carried, as long as they are not working.

Yes, I agree but you find me a foreigner that would be driving a pickup with the loads like this and NOT be working.
