webfact
The Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) is contemplating a reduction in the permissible limit of methamphetamine pills from five to three. This proposal is in response to the substantial criticism received for the five-pill cap, enforced by the Ministry of Public Health since February 9. The current rule exempts individuals from criminal charges if they are found with five or fewer methamphetamine pills or 300 milligrams of heroin. Instead of legal proceedings, these individuals are categorised as drug users in need of rehabilitation. In contrast, previously, possession of even small quantities of drugs would lead to prosecution and a permanent criminal record, impacting future opportunities. The ONCB, in the voice of Secretary-General Police Lieutenant General Phanurat Lukboon, announced that any decision to reduce the limit to three pills will be considered in approximately three months. by Mitch Connor Picture courtesy of Thairath Full story: The Thaiger 2024-02-15 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. CanadaSam
Actually, if they were serious about drawing a line between user and dealer, the limit should have been 2 or 3 max. Why in hell would anybody want more than that, except for distribution?

Why in hell would anybody want more than that, except for distribution? Because they are addicted and dropping 3 or more tabs a day NOT because they are dealers. Dealers will have 100's if not thousands on hand or easily accessible from higher up the dealing chain. Edited February 15 by dinsdale

It's expensive to feed and water people who are incarcerated. US taxpayers don't seem to mind paying but every where else in the world does.
