That bar ("Thaivisa Lounge") was the second iteration of the infamous New Wave, Soi 7, after the land on the corner was sold to be redeveloped and was owned by the successful 'Frenchman', 'Patrick', it was not owned by Thaivisa. Thaivisa put a bit of money in it and used it temporarily, putting their name on the alley side of New Wave's frontage.

You were on your way to the beer garden anyway admit it.

It's only saving grace was the pork chops and mashed spuds on a couple of very hungry occasions and then a rapid dart out back to New Wave.

Next question how many would be interested in meeting for a coffee. Or.... If you have a topic of discussion (or not) you can try using meetup.com if you have a friend or two just start meeting at a regular spot that others are welcome to join

February 22, 20242 yr I've meet up with one of the moderators here at my house who helped me with a little project in his line of knowledge (only cost me a couple of beers and we got on well). I think there's a lot of folks here who share similar ideals. Though, having a specific party and trying to get a bunch of socialist, communist, terrorist, democrats, conservatives or republicans together is probably not a good idea.
