The Energy Minister has reassured the public that electricity prices will remain stable between May and August. The ministry is dedicated to upholding the current rate of 4.18 baht per unit, consistent with the January to April period.

 

Recent discussions with the energy regulation commission focused on strategies to sustain this rate, with a firm commitment not to exceed 4.68 baht per unit.

 

The anti online scam center set up last november announced it has frozen nearly 40 thousand bank accounts connected with fraud, this follows  over 307 thousand complains of scams involving investments, fake job offers, loan sharks and extortion, the agency claims it managed to to recoup 1.9 billion baht of the 3.4 billion baht lost to the various scams,


The government, along with the International Labour Organization and stakeholders, aims to improve employment conditions in Thailand. Key priorities include developing the labor market, ensuring social protections and decent work for all, while enhancing data management and communication.
