A resurfaced video clip showing Louis Walsh touching Mel B inappropriately on live television has stirred controversy online. The incident occurred during an interview on ITV2's spin-off show The Xtra Factor in 2014, where Walsh, alongside Mel B and other co-stars, was being interviewed.

In the video, Walsh can be seen grabbing the backside of the former Spice Girls singer, prompting Mel B to interrupt the host and question Walsh about his actions. Visibly uncomfortable, she shifts away from him and addresses him directly, calling his behavior "inappropriate."

Walsh, seemingly laughing it off, responds by saying he was simply "looking after Mel." However, Mel B expresses her discomfort further, indicating that his actions were not acceptable.

This isn't the first time the video has surfaced, as it previously circulated on social media in 2020 following remarks made by former X Factor contestant Misha B about her experience on the reality show. Walsh, in response to the video, dismissed his actions as "a joke" during an interview on Today FM.

Despite his explanation, many viewers have expressed their disapproval of Walsh's behavior, labeling it as "disgusting" and criticizing his hiring for the reality show. Walsh's return to television comes as the celebrity version of Big Brother has been resurrected on ITV, following the success of the latest civilian series.

The resurfacing of the video highlights ongoing conversations surrounding inappropriate behavior and the need for accountability, particularly within the entertainment industry. As discussions continue, Walsh's actions serve as a reminder of the importance of respecting personal boundaries and maintaining professionalism in all settings.
