A tragic tale of domestic violence turned fatal has emerged from Rayong province, where a 31 year old man killed his 37 year old ex-wife following a deceptive request to meet one last time. The incident, which sent shockwaves through the local community, occurred in the late hours of April 1.

Thanet lured Thipakorn to a commercial building on the outskirts of Rayong under the pretence of wanting to see her for a final farewell. However, the encounter took a dark turn, resulting in Thipakorn’s untimely death. Deputy Inspector Surachet Thepcharlee from Khao Chamao Police Station revealed the details of the arrest and the subsequent investigation into the harrowing event.

The following day, as mourners gathered at Wat Khao Tham in Rayong to perform funerary rites for Thipakorn, her 63 year old father, Jerm, expressed his profound grief and demanded stringent legal action against Thanet. He recounted the events leading up to his daughter’s death, sharing that Thanet had sent a message via Line to Thipakorn on the evening of April 1, stating his desire to meet her one last time before moving on. Oblivious to his true intentions, she drove to Thanet’s residence, setting the stage for the tragedy that unfolded.

Jerm continued, revealing that in the early hours of April 2, he was informed by relatives that his daughter had been fatally assaulted by Thanet. Adding to the shock, Thanet boastfully messaged a group of friends on Line, declaring he had “killed his wife.”

In a frantic state, Jerm discovered his daughter, struggling to breathe, and rushed her to the hospital. Despite their efforts, she passed away, prompting an immediate police report and leading to Thanet’s arrest, reported KhaoSod.

Thanet’s cruel act has left the family seeking justice, as they grapple with the loss of Thipakorn, who had previously filed a report of physical abuse against him on March 27. The police have taken Thanet into custody, and legal proceedings are underway to address this ruthless crime.

Get away, stay away.... these last meetings, or lets sort things out always end badly.
