He was and is a very dangerous man

Do you believe in Santa as well? IMO Trump is about as dangerous as Santa, who doesn't exists except in stories. Plenty of stories about how dangerous Trump is, and as real as Santa stories.

So  you wouldn't bother with a trial because you think he's guilty.

No I think trials are a necessary thing, unless the crime is of a heinous nature and there are multiple witnesses. In which case I don't think a trial is required, just a three judge tribunal pronouncing sentence, which is carried out within 30 days. And in the case of serial killing or heinous murder and rape, the death penalty is the most appropriate sentence.

There are certain lines that one crosses in this life which amount to a self-revocation of the right to consume oxygen.

Of course we're getting off track here I'm not referring to Trump, but hopefully his crimes will be sufficient to lock him up for the rest of his sorry life.

I doubt he thinks it was a sorry life. Could have done better than the first wife but most of us probably marry the wrong woman. He seemed have a ball, and he even socialised with Bill and Hillary.

You’ve adopted the logic of a Monty Python sketch

….

I broke a coffee cup this afternoon.

Biden is President, ergo the broken coffee cup is Biden’s fault.

A comprehensive knowledge of Monty Python's Flying Circus is a great help in understanding the current American political circumstances.

Perhaps "Pythonography" should be included in Ivy League University studies?

Nearly a million Americans died from Covid- 19, trump, because of his ignorance and deadly stubbornness and his less than adult claims and comments and his way way less than adult thinking about how to cure covid- 19 was responsible for about 95% of the deaths.

Further, just wondering how many poor Americans ended up in hospital with Covid- 19, accumulated hospital bills in the thousands / tens of thousands of $s, then died.

Now their families still trying to clear these huge debts? All because the ignorant idiot trump and his GOPS goons refused to cover costs of medications, buy extra ventilators etc., and the clown made comments about 'drink bleach, that will cure it'. And at the same time to her face on TV the clown abused / intimidated highly qualified and respected expert doctors.

Then we have jokers here in his thread trying to say trump gets blamed for everything and it's not fair.

Wow.

And how many people with long covid? Imagine not being able to work anymore, not have much of a social life anymore, if any, having barely enough energy to just survive. Many people are facing a very uncertain and unhappy future because they don’t know if they will ever get better again.

That applies to far too many people suffering from any LONG term illness, not just COVID!

Maybe so, but the real point is the enormous numbers of folks who caught Covid- 19 and in a fairly short timespan died.

The point was that many covid infections could have been prevented, had the Trump administration taken this seriously. So the same goes for long covid. Other long term illnesses are much harder to prevent, or not at all.
