Wow!

It could be several things:

- Just a rumor

- AN is buying Thaiger

- AN is merging with Thaiger

- Thaiger is buying AN

I wonder which alternative is most likely?

Yes it could be several of the things that you posted.

Regarding the link in the OP as it relates to your scenarios:

  a.  Clearly it's a rumor until it happens

  b.  Doubtful but anything is possible (until it isn't.)

  c.  The "rumor" states that Thaiger will merge the AN/Thaigertalk forums....

  d.  ....after Thaiger purchases AN.

So at least three of your stated scenarios may all be true simultaneously.

Payday.

Self proclaimed tech guru, expert on women and business agitator Dan Cheeseman and his Inspire Group a few years back took over what was once just a small local Thai forum with thousands of regular readers and developed it in to a multi country internet mega project with tens of regular readers.

There will be a long queue of bidders for it all wanting to be associated with Thailand's most successful Vlogger.

Thanks for all your great work Dan.

It wont be the same without you mate.

If there is truth that Dan bought it with investors 35 million baht and now is selling it for 3 million baht, that is a solid 8.5% return for the investors.

Nothing to be sneezed at these days with low interest rates.

Yes, i knew someone who paid to advertise in it. There were promises that it was going to be bigger than Thaivisa itself'

I think the print version failed after the third edition.

I never saw a fourth, not sure I saw a third to be honest.

It didnt bring much inspiration.
