Hoping to survive a plague carrier seated next to me, who coughed continuously from Melbourne to Singapore. The Singapore - Bangkok leg had a howling infant a few seats away. The joys of air travel. I dont have that problem on 'first class carriages' Singapore airline. I get my own little room. You should try it one day.

Once you try first class you will never go back. 1

AreYouGerman
People always say how nice flying was while looking at pictures from the 60s where the passengers got full service and they are obviously wrong as they only get this impression by flying cattle class. I always wonder if you charter a private plane, is the airline actually providing an escort girl as stewardess which you can use during the flight or are those cuties 'real' stewardesses? It gives the rest of us peasants the privilege of never having to meet, sit beside or, God forbid, have to converse with you or your ilk!

I am not envious of people who are wealthier than me, I have enough. I don't have a bitcoin wallet, as I don't subscribe to Ponzi schemes or cults. I don't need charity from anyone either, and especially not a shallow, patronizing troll.

But I did once stay at the Inter-Continental in Hong Kong (on someone else's expense) Luxury is nice, but .... A staff came to my room and brought chocolates to welcome me to the room and he bowed as he gave me the chocolates. First and last time anyone every bowed at me. I get treated like crap mostly in real life. First class 5 star hotel/restaurant folks love this kind of treatment, to be made to feel like they are royalty. I find it all ridiculous. And it's not healthy for your ego to spiral out of control and you start thinking you're more important than everyone else.

The airline I am flying has options for 7kg or 14 kg on the plane so it’s not done to inconvenience but to get somewhere as the airline recommends is appropriate. If there’s no room the airline would no doubt have to update their policy. Edited May 3 by Fat is a type of crazy
