Hello Everyone!

Can someone please assist me in locating a professional nanny service who can provide care for my 14 year old son?

I have never done this before, which may be obvious after reading below. Any and all advice is welcomed.

Ideally, the following skills are required or optional as notated:

1. (Optional) live in Nanny - private 3 bedroom - 17th floor condo

2. English Speaking -scale 1 to 5 and 5 being the highest, a 3 or better is requested

3. Meet my son at school and ensure that he is safely returned home (one block walk)

4. Provide after school snack (healthy) and drink after school

5. Ensure son does not play computer games or watch T.V. until his homework is completed

6. Accompany son to after school activities as required while I am working late. After school activities may include social events with other children.

7. Accompany son and myself to social activities; movies, dinners, events, (optional)

8. Market shopping - purchase local groceries (optional)

9. Cooking - variety of dishes (optional)

10. No cleaning required - serviced apartment

11. Swimming - (optional) - oversee my sons safety

12. Mall shopping - (optional) - welcomed to join us

13. Travel with my son and I, as needed, to foriegn countries while I am attending meetings; e.g. London, Singapore, Madrid, Chennai, America, Laos, etc... (optional) - I will pay expenses (transportation, lodging, and passport/visa fees) as necessary

14. Live in with my son while I am traveling abroad (optonal)

15. Hours vary from AM to late PM (subject to change due to my work schedule) - flexibility needed

16. Duration - Full time - Holidays flexable. Vacation 2 weeks per year (paid). I am expected to reside in Bangkok for two years with option to extend contract for another 3 years - total 5 years.

17. Start Date August 6, 2007

18. Other skills - TBD

Compensation - Salary Negotiable - Starting Range 8,000 - 12,000 THB

Expenses - Taxi fare or gasoline if she has her own car, associated cost with social outings, dinners, movies, etc...

Bonus based upon performance.

Petty cash for emergencies.

To be very honest, this is a great opportunity for someone, but some how I think it will be difficult for a local Thai girl. A Filipina would be mor practical I think, but what about work permit ?
