Yeah, going by the majority posts on here, Putin will be handing over the keys to the Kremlin as soon as the Ukrainian F 16s appear over the front lines and send the orcs scurrying back to Russia, or at least those that survive.

Nope.

It's a war of attrition, similar to WWI between Germany and Russia.

Other than a few videos of a couple of tanks being blown up here and there, the usual ad hominem and deflection posts plus a scattering of content free posts from a certain Mick Hucknall fan, there doesn’t seem to be much news reports coming out of the battlefield in this conflict.

Coud it be that the world is getting tired of Zelensky jetting around the world, spewing nonsense about casualty figures, begging for more money so that his wife can allegedly buy a Bugatti for each and every one of his homes? (Jest, for those that like to report posts and those that lives by links from their “credible” sources).

Or is it (more likely, imo) that day by day, slowly but surely, Russia is advancing westwards, capturing village after village (as seen on many mapping channels), more and more Ukrainian soldiers (conscripts with no training really) are surrendering and Ukraine is running out of men willing to fight a proxy war? Western media is of course self censoring reports that might show Russia is winning so that leaves independent sources which are of course not credible or approved.

Zelensky should have known when to quit when there was a good chance of ending the conflict 2 years ago and keeping Ukraine intact. But he forgot that famous quote of (supposedly) Kissinger about dangerous to be America’s enemy but fatal to be its ally, something that a lot of European countries are also slowly discovering for themselves.

Another one that got duped by the fake Bugatti story, why does that not surprise me..........:clap2:

Even a scoundrel can be right. There were no WMDS and IMO that war was based on a lie.

Not a scoundrel who's opinions swing wildly based on personal advantage, which was the point. Such people are never reliable and are not now. (Trust me bro, I won't cheat you again!)

Jeffrey Sachs is not a scoundrel but also suffers from occasional opinion swing e.g., lab leaks. He is bright and means well but a bit blinded by his "America bad"  feelings.

Some WMD and traces were found but that's off topic.

Both of you are going away if you don't stop derailing the topic with personal attacks. (Removed)

In your haste to score cheap points, you missed the words allegedly and jest.

I confess, it was an intentional bait which you predictably swallowed, hook, line and sinker. Looks like you’re the one that got duped. I’m not surprised at all though.

Its rather a shame that we cannot provide links to Tass, being the pro-Russian propaganda source of information regarding this clusterf**k. Between the twain is reality.

This is a pro-Ukrainian forum. If getting likes are important, then you need to repeat the narrative. On the other hand, if you’re interested in the truth and living in the real world, be prepared to be attacked, insulted, trolled and reported. Also, lots of confused emojis (yes, the other side gets confused rather easily).

Dictator Putin making it clear were he stands.

"Putin explicitly rejected Russian participation in any meaningful negotiations on a ceasefire agreement, instead demanding Ukraine's "irreversible" "demilitarization" as a precondition for any ceasefire agreement. Putin is thus demanding that Ukraine effectively surrender in advance of any ceasefire."

Putin has now labeled all Ukrainian governing institutions illegitimate or unsuitable for negotiations and has dismissed the idea of third parties participating in negotiations — de facto rejecting any realistic process for meaningfully negotiating a ceasefire agreement. (1/2)

The F-16 planes delivered from my country Norway and other European countries are now ready to get involved in the war.   The Ukrainian pilots have been trained in Denmark and Poland , there are some talks about hiding the planes at the military air bases in Poland, and use them on day/nightly missions in Ukraine.  But officially they will be parked inside Ukraine.

The distance from the Polish border to Kharkiv is around 1000 km (621 miles) , within range of the F-16. Missiles used can reach up to 1000 km.

Can the Ruzzian shills here please comment.

Hypersonic missiles.

Used to attack Ukraine's largest children's hospital.

Except for the very remote and very improbable possibility that there was a sufficiently significant military target at the hospital to justify such a strike, the chain of command from Putin to the commander of the missile unit should hang from a rope.

Let's prepare the courtroom in Nuremberg.

Putin just hates Ukrainian children, that’s why he is ready to spend multimillion hypersonic missile to kill children in center of Kyiev.

No any doubts about that, yeah.

Russia has targeted civilians since the start, their citizens should hang their heads in shame

Russian propagandists are already spreading lies that Ukraine air defense is responsible, either directly or by shooting down a Russian missile.

As ridiculous as that is already, there are now multiple clear videos showing at least one Russian HK-101 missile, undamaged, directly aimed at and hitting the hospital.

It's time to let Ukraine hit anything anywhere they see fit.

(Beware local Kremlin bots.)

Clarification:

The above video is by the Russian propagandist trying to claim the Russian KH-101 missile is a Patriot missile (scumbag). The below comparison images prove it is the KH-101, which has mid body wings seen in the video. Patriots have no such wings.

Why the clouds have changed shape and appearance on the zoom?

The images are from a video of a moving missile. Different frames show its movement.  If you look closely, the right image shows the same clouds but the missile has moved lower by a bit more than its body length. From videos I've seen, this is about 2 frames.

Never believe Russian propagandists.

I’m pretty sure that it was Russian missile. Just posting more credible evidence will make proof more solid either.

However I’m sure that the children’s hospital was not  the real target. Why would army do that, with what purpose? IMO, it was aiming error, wrong intel, hardware failure - something from this.

Anyway, such terrible event shouldn’t be happening in our world.

the Ruzzian ministry of defence and war crimes told the press that that all missiles hit their intended targets.

Re the OP, I did say some time ago that Russia would likely take revenge for attacks on Russian soil. Seems I may have been right on that.

While I have no wish to argue with you over that, I'm afraid that in an age of AI being able to modify digital images perfectly, I only believe anything taken on old fashioned photo stock, and there isn't much of that around now.

Seems we have moved into an age where nothing we see in media is immune to modification.

There have been enough instances of destroyed missiles ending up in unfortunate places to have a ready explanation, if one believes that a digital image may be erroneous.

However, as I said, I have no wish to get into a dispute over it.

You think ordinary Russians are responsible for target destinations?
