Getting a hotel license for Airbnb type rental villa?

When I operated 4 small 'hotels' in Phuket, none of them were actually 'hotels'.  But they all still needed operating permits and the properties were inspected every year and permit fees paid.

Can you please tell us more like what fees are paid for what size etc thank you very much
