So Justice on the SCOTUS in receipt of 193 ‘gifts’ to a total value of over $4million, and only 27 of those ‘gifts’ recorded in financial disclosure.   And you can’t see a problem?

Someone recently remarked words to the effect that , a person who doesn't understand the meaning of a disclosure form has no business interpreting the Constitution of the United States.

So is this an example of the deep state and the swamp that a certain presidential candidate can't bring up often enough?

Republicans/conservatives do not have to own up or recuse, with a  "and what you gonna do about it, b_tch?"  I recall seeing Bush Sr on a talk show while the 2000 election results were in contention, and the host said he understood that GW had to recuse himself.  "Oh yeah, recusal" said Bush, in a tone that implied he was laughing up his sleeve.

Fortunately at this time there is the Lincoln Project that knows how to confront the arrogant ______s.

what a crook. is he the only 1... and what about the others ? how many of them are pigs. it does say justices (plural) at the start so i am assuming there is more than just him.

the others are probably not as greedy or just haven't been found out yet.

It's all very well explained in the OP.

One has to look at the deception to recognize the intent! Methinks

The dark money that sponsors these

leftists schemes to discredit a republican Supreme Court Judge !

“Fix the Court is nominally nonpartisan but in practice another political outfit that readily launches political attacks on conservative judges, including the three justices appointed by President Trump. During the Kavanaugh nomination, the organization purchased the domain names BrettKavanaugh.com and BrettKavanaugh.net, on which they then placed links to groups dedicated to supporting sexual assault survivors and left-wing advocacy groups. The head of Fix the Court is Gabe Roth, who had previously worked for the communications consultancy SKDKnickerbocker, the clients of which include prominent Democratic politicians and numerous dark-money groups on the Left”.

What about the dark money used to corrupt and buy a Supreme Court Judge?

Do you mean this guy Harlan Crow ?

Yep, it's his, all bought and paid for.  Pretty obvious, too.

Do the judges in the USA have Thai heritage? I wonder if the corruption in the Thai justice system is merely a copy of the US system. 9

The traffic cop who takes a few bucks for not writing a speeding ticket will be publicly crucified if caught: disgrace to the uniform, betrayal of public trust, etc.

Corrupt big-money deals involving public officials etc, even if reported in the media, most likely will evaporate or be overshadowed, such that the rascals can keep running for public office.  Paying off gov't officials used to be called graft, and was a crime.  A certain Republican saint in the 1980s got rid of graft by legalizing and calling it political action committees (PACs).   IMO the shining moment was in the first decade of this century when a career politician turned armaments executive turned back into a politician and became vice president to a not-very-bright president who preferred clearing brush on his Texas ranch to "presidentin'"

The best politicians money can buy, long may it wave!

And now with a politicized Supreme Court featuring a few hard-core conservative justices collecting millions in gifts in a bold-faced, obvious way, well, . . .

Thanks for the information it appears no matter what part of the political spectrum these people are on, they are all as bad as each other. I note that no one attempted to repeal this PAC law.

It's a good way for the wealthy to bribe politicians and high office holders to do their bidding without fear of prosecution for either party. It appears the US political system is totally corrupt and does not represent the people at all. Why would anyone give a high official personal gifts worth millions otherwise?

"haven't been found out yet"? In other words, to your way of thinking, the lack of evidence actually is evidence.

You think if the dems had a 6/3 majority this would be acceptable, methinks not.

Dems, legacy media ,and their  activist groups pretending to be fair are ruthless.

Judges shouldn't be allowed to accept any gifts to avoid possible corruption.
