On June 18, 2024, at 2PM, authorities in Bangkok held a press release discussing a violent clash between two technical college groups that took place on June 13 in Ramkhamhaeng, Bangkok. The brawl resulted in one fatality and one injury.

The police arrested a group of 14, including a former technical college student, 20-year-old Kanok, along with nine underage teenagers and four other youngsters. It was revealed that they had participated in a public fight in which guns and swords were used, causing death and injury to students from a rival college.

The police investigation found that the suspects, ranging in age from 15 to 21, were either attending or had previously attended a popular technical college in Ramkhamhaeng. Following warrants from the Phra Khanong Criminal Court and the Central Juvenile and Family Court, the 14 suspects were arrested.

The group admitted to attacking students from a rival college due to a longstanding feud. Weapons seized by the police during the arrest included two unregistered guns, three swords, and eight motorbikes which were used in the crimes.

The suspects, along with the confiscated items, were moved to Bangna police station for further legal proceedings. As a result of this incident, police and related authorities promised more surveillance of technical colleges in the area to stop and discourage similar public fights affecting local communities.

How do kids get guns and swords?

Online like Facebook, there should be no 50% discount for gun crimes when pleading guilty.

2 yr min jail/detention time, on a 5 tier system as in the UK.

Man!! Talk about school Yard feuds which makes us here in Australia look weak due to the nature of the weapons used. They are armed and dangerous from a young age and ill definitely keep an eye out for the youth of Thailand when they point ANYTHING in my direction OMG.

Automatic 5 year Black balling into the army in my opinion. If these young thugs thought they would be joining the army for five years and a potential journey south, they may well think again

I have always said ... mandatory conscription is a must ...  put every kid through the army to teach him proper.   imo

So you want to put kids who think using guns and swords in crimes is okay into the army where they have access to guns? There's a mentality involved when a person uses guns against people, especially students who are involved in a feud. These are children who weren't taught at home the respect for life and have to use weapons to go after other children. There is something wrong with their brains to do this. Putting them into  the army might teach them something, but pent up anger usually comes out in time, just like that former soldier who shot all those people here in the mall. Also the former police officer who killed all the kids and adults in the school. Mental illness has to be treated, and putting them in a place where forced regimentation happens, and sometimes beatings, is only going to make them more angry. Remember Full Metal Jacket? You push a mentally unstable person too hard someone is going to pay.

Where did these weapons originate from the BIB's or the highly trusted military.
