dragonfly94
I am thinking of changing my teacher just for the benifits of hearing another accent. She charges 250 an hour for individual visiting tuition. Does anyone know another who charges about the same? Checking one or two I am surprised to see they charge 400-600 and hour and not all are qualified, some being just students. Schools seem to charge the highest rates and then not all visit at home or office. Edited July 31, 2007 by dragonfly94
withnail
I currently pay 400 Baht an hour for an experienced teacher who works Mon - Fri at a Thai language school. She's good but out of the other 8 or 9 teachers I've had they've mostly been completely useless. If the teacher you're currently studying with is good and only charges that much I frankly wouldn't advise switching for the sake of something as trivial as an accent. Why not just suggest to her that you use some tapes or CD's/DVD's?
