just been out and stocked up on booze.

12 big bottles of beer.

4 litres of wine

4 small bottles of cider

1 bottle of tequila.

I don't know about you lot but it just feels better having a drink on these so called religious holidays.

about to pour myself a double vodka and coke to start proceedings..

how about you lot?

is your fridge full of booze ready for the 'dry' weekend?

😄

bob.

You should hang your head in shame bob living in a " devout " Buddhist country. Some much for my sarcasm get smashed tonight like Thais do when no ones looking.

Round at my local ma and pa shop there's plenty of Thais pissing it up.

Of course they are. Ok it's a special time for Buddhist but let people make their own a choice. I'd bet big money that the Thai governments members bar isn't shut on special Buddhist days. It's just another hub that Thailand can claim, that is the hub of hypocrisy.

Has anyone run out of booze, so far?

I still have enough ice water to last until August 15th.

I have enough Sichuan tea to last until June 15th, 2025.

This is why you should stop the booze, and start the tea.

This is the quickest way to reduce stress in your life, by never needing to worry over No-Alky-Sales holidays.

Or, even though I do not smoke it, you might try planting weed in your garden, if still allowed, instead of depending on the neighborhood shop for beer.

Better to be self-reliant and independent and to think outside the box, especially in uncertain times such as these in which we now live.

Then I fill up all 40 of the 1.5-liter bottles.

Refilling water bottles, even with other bottled water, is unhealthy as it leads to a build-up of bacteria.

What are the bacterial counts.

Is this your own finding?

Please post your data.

Is this orhers' research you are referring to?

Post links to the studies for our evaluation.

So then....

I often find it difficult to search a good site for ALL the days when Thai people will take days-off and holidays.

But, here seems to be a better one than I am normally able to find

Hope this helps some here who may be too drunk to intelligently use their phones/computers to search for...

Just about anything...

https://holidays-calendar.net/calendar_en/thailand_en.html

I will try to bookmark it on my computer.

Not sure how that might work, though...

The REASON I searched for this site is that I was not sure how much longer this present long weekend might last.

And then, I became concerned for some, here.

Personally, I wish that this holiday would last through the week, until Friday, and then we would have the 28th/29th of July off.

This is the way they should have scheduled this holiday, IMHO.
