TOT is seriously pissing me off by delaying installation saying too many at my condo already have it, the new manager has to approve some b.s. proposal blah blah etc. True isn't allowed to operate in the area either. Right now I pay some guy in the adjacent building who has some dodgy TOT connection with wifi that he sells to neighbors but of course is horribly unreliable and painfully slow. Is there any other options for me?

Depends how much you want to spend a month but checkout the GSHDSL from TOT which runs on different protocols and system. If you can't get a TRUE line there you're anyway limited to TOT. It doesn't matterP, all have to use the TOT line and if the available connections sold out, what you can do? Last altenative is IP-Star IF the Landlord allow to place the Satellite Dish there!

Have you checked with AIS or DTAC? If GPRS is fast enough....

are you sure you cannot get a TRUE connection ?

I live in a moo barn near software park and I have TRUE ADSL on a TOT phone line - maybe it is the phone line that is the issue , they have no spare ones for your condo.

you could also think about using EDGE ( mobile phone or USB ) or CDMA .

I live at Champs Eleysee on Tiwanon/Sisaman and I've been told True is forbidden to do anything in the area despite having True/UBC. Have a TOT phone line already installed. I guess DTAC or similar may be the only option.
