Labour The Rise of the New Nasty Party
Still too early in this parliament to know which of the backbenchers or lesser-known ministers will make a name for themselves. To repeat, I don't see Starmer going anytime soon: The bookies have Reeves, Burnham and Streeting as the favourites to succeed Starmer. Personally - based only on hearing them in interviews, etc - I like Reeves but don't rate Streeting very highly. Of course, Burnham is not a MP but he seems competent. As a Londoner, he is too much of a 'professional Northerner' for my taste although I guess that is part of his job. John Healey keeps a low profile but impresses me whenever he talks. By no means an exhaustive list and, no doubt, I will change my mind as this parliament progresses but there's a few suggestions for you. -

Forgot to add to my previous reply, I meant the real Heavy Metal, the machines that run 1,000+ PFlops/s (that's Peta FLOPS). And they are not connected to the internet and do not run commercial software. They are quietly running calculating folding proteins, simulating nuclear explosions to picoseconds, and other such everyday mundane things for the betterment of human civilization. -

NVMe vs SSD - Hands on experience?
NVMe IS SSD 😊 Is NVMe better than SATA SSD...was the question that you meant to pose. But your reply didn't address the question from the OP as to reliability, cost.. But given the choice from a 1TB Crucial MX500 2.5" SSD for 3000 baht or a Samsung 980 Pro as suggested earlier, for 3690 baht. Honda Scoopy v Yamaha Fino
I'd go for a Yamaha Filano or Honda Giorno with ABS if you want the Scoopy/Fino traditional scooter style. ABS on the front is a useful feature on small wheeled, lightweight scooters. The Honda Adv is also worth considering, but it's more costly. -

When I wrote my SMS AI chat app way back around the year 2,000, I deliberately put spelling mistakes and slang in the replies to fool people into thinking that they were chatting with a real person. You know, something like "Cor luv a duck, you're a rite one ain't you?" 🙂- 1

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
I read the mutual fund part in the BP differently. It is stated that only PIT is concerned so the mutual fund ITSELF as a fund does not have to pay (corporation or fund) taxes. Sadly it seems they have not given up (yet) on their plan to tax all international income. Which brings the LTR visa back in the limelight with its tax exemption on REMITTED income. So if ww taxation comes into place it is NOT assured that unremitted income will be exempted as well. BOI refuses a clear answer so far regarding unremitted income. This is just a current description of the situation. Be aware of the possible risks if you rely on LTR tax exemption for unremitted income in 2025.
