Nobody knows. Currently we can only say you are not likely to obtain in Rangoon and would have a very hard time in PP or Manila. At other locations it is normally much easier but it can vary from place to place and time to time.

Hi!

This actually question - how did you get a second 60 day tourist visa? I am from the States and I attained a 60 day tourist visa from China, but I want to extend it, so would really like to know the process. I know you can go to the immgration office in BKK and get a 30 day extenshion but a 60 day? (or is it possible for a 90 day?)

Thanks

You have to leave Thailand and get another Tourist Visa at a Thai embassy or consulate somewhere.

We've seen reports of 3 back-to-back since October 1, 2006 and even 4 going back earlier than that....from Penang.

Fantastic! I really appreicate the clarification - I plan on doing the same. Except that I might go to Australia. Any one have anything to say about the Thai immigration office in Australia? Ohh and is there an appropriate amount of time one should go out for an then return?

Thanks for all the information!
