Don't know if this was ironic or not but i can say that France does have some of the most beautiful beaches / stretches of coastline in the world, in some areas of course (ps : don't be surprised if many of the most beautiful ones are filled with completely naked people. Many nudists spots in france....:)

What a bizarre way of thinking.  Surely French people would rather be in France for the Olympics if they actually wanted to watch it or they would have already booked their holidays for during the Olympics.   And also the majority of the Olympics will be on during the early hours of the mornings in Thailand so even more reason to want to watch it in their own country.     Always thought the Thai peoples way of thinking is weird and this is more proof.

Here is the latest report from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports including the month of June 2024
That is for entries from June 24 2,740,372
for the period from January to June 2024 17,501,283
The goal of 35 million of the record will probably not be reached despite all the new provisions of the government by granting an exemption visa to the Chinese and the extension to 2 months of existing tourist visas
For information it is wrong to think that 22% of Thailand's income comes from Tourism
In fact the share of International tourism is 12%
and 11% of National Internal Tourism which is increasingly dynamic thanks to a regional policy
The large International tourism areas are now saturated and cause new problems
According to the data I recovered from immigration
there would be approximately 470,000 foreigners under visas who live in Thailand (There are 32 types of visa) for 207 nations present
And more than 2 million citizens of he Border countriesLaos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam who make an important economic force of work of Thailand
