Many “boys” menstruate and use period pads or tampons during their cycle. 
 

When I went to an event at a US university last year I was surprised to see them in the “mens” room. Free, from a box. Surprised, Just that I thought I had walked into the “wrong bathroom” in error.
 

 If we are still going to have separate facilities going forward it is nothing but discriminatory, and in a transphobic and very irrational hateful way to not have these period products  in both.

There are lots of great ideas which get totally corrupted before they get implemented.
We live on a planet which could, quite literally, be close to a utopia for all.  One problem though. 
Unbridled Human Greed. 
Eventually those great ideas get kicked to the gutter by those who wish to amass power and wealth and then impose extreme austerity on the rest of humanity - or just cull them - because why share if you can have it all to yourself?
