Banglamung, August 9th, 2024– Mr. Wikit Manarojkij, Banglamung District Chief, recently chaired a monthly meeting with village headmen and kamnans at the Sala Prachakom meeting room, Bang Lamung District Office. The focus of the meeting was on the strict enforcement of policies against gambling and drugs.

Mr. Manarojkij highlighted two critical policies that must be rigorously followed: the prohibition of gambling and the crackdown on drug-related activities. He expressed concern over reports of gambling in certain areas that had not been communicated by the responsible village headmen or kamnans. He emphasized that any failure to report such activities would result in severe disciplinary action without the possibility of appeal.

The District Chief reiterated that gambling is strictly prohibited under the policy of the Chonburi Governor and Thai law. Given the vast area of Banglamung District, he urged all village headmen and kamnans to be vigilant and proactive in monitoring and reporting any gambling activities.

Obviously at least 90% of village headmen or kamnans in Thailand would report any crime right away. Yeah, sure.
