Hello,

I neeed an advice, I have a NON 0 visa, multiple entries (spouse) and i will have to get a new visa in the next few months. I was wondering if DTV visa would be a better, cheaper, more convenient option than NON O. As there is no 90 days reports, no need to have a Thai bank account,

Does anybody know if this visa could was already obtained by some people in a neighbouring country ?

I was also considering to apply on THAI EVISA but you can't do it from Thailand...

Thanks

You still need to do the 90 days report (or leave the country).

The DTV is cheaper as five times the fee from the NON O is more than double of the fee for the DTV.

I think it depends under what option you want the DTV Visa. I heard, that if you choose to use a school (Thai-boxing, Cooking), the visa maybe will not be valid the 5 years, only the 180 days, while you were in the course!

But this we will know hopefully soon, how this visa really works. I would recommend to stay with your NON-O (or you mean extensions)?

You can get the multiple-entry non-O visa for the reason of living with your Thai wife.

You cannot get the DTV for the reason of living with your Thai wife.

That is true, but i am also remote worker. I can apply for the DTV as i fulfill all condition for this visa.

Yes, cheaper and seems more easy to get than a NON O visa.

I used to apply NON O from my home country with the website THAI EVISA. (Every year we spend the summer in Europe, and i use to apply from here, but we didn't come back in Europe this year) so i have to renew my visa from Thailand.

They ask a lot of paperwork and the visa agent is not cheap. It seems to me (but i can be wrong) it is easier to go for the DTV, from a neighbouring country.

Then go for that definitely.
