On August 16,  at approximately 13:30, Lt. Col. Wittaya Senbua, an investigator from the Rattanathibet Police Station in Nonthaburi Province, received a report of a fatal accident involving a child who had fallen into a sewage pit.

The incident occurred at a construction workers' camp located in Soi Liang Muang Non 15, Bang Krasor Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nonthaburi.

The victim, a two-year-old Cambodian boy, was found deceased after allegedly falling into the septic pit while playing. Family members suspect the child was running around the area and accidentally fell into the uncovered pit.

Authorities, accompanied by a medical team from the Institute of Forensic Science and rescue workers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, rushed to the scene, but the child was pronounced dead after being recovered from the pit.

An investigation in to the cause will take place.
