Ginger Baker was god.

And a Jerk by all accounts

Budweisser (obviously).

The 'Bud' refers to tooth buds, and the 'Weisser' refers to you being a lot wiser the third time round, once you have lost your baby teeth and your first-attempt adult teeth.  Good luck, mate 😜

Good point.....had one once after a double osteotomy extraction ...boy...... that was painful

They were removing the horns on your head?

Yeah I tried beer chang and pizza to cheer me up immediately after a tooth extraction..Almost chewed my lip off cause it was still numb and three days later got the dreaded " dry socket"..So Chang obviously isn't the right beer .If that helps.

So what happened with the dry socket?

And, don't you think it might have been the hot pizza pie and not the cold Chang that caused this in the first place?

Or, it might have been that you ate hot (high temp) food on the following days, like hot soup, etc.

I guess you call it Root Beer.

Root beer is Sarsaparilla... not Ginger beer.

Why can't I find beer like this in Thailand?

But, would the EIS go well with beer in Germany?

And, why is real German beer so expensive here?

I will not pay more than they pay in Germany.

Anyway, after 24 hours, no pain...so....beer not required (urgently).

Dear Sir:

If I were to develop DRY SOCKET....during the next several days....

My question is:

Do you think TV's Farang Pub members would be HAPPY, or....SAD?

Dry Socket is not a pleasant experience.

When I was in Singapore, aboard the vessel TAMPICO, an MSTS jumbojizedd WW2 tanker, we had a few chicks climb over the side, and some of them had the Dreaded Dry Socket, that you mentioned in your comment.

If I get Dry Socket, I will update you.

Thank you for your contribution.

I always like reading your comments.

Note:  Here in Chiang Mai, it's raining Cats and Dogs...at the moment.   I hope that the rain will cease in a few days, but if it does not....that's OK, too.  I love the sound of rain outside my house.  Thank the gods for Fantastic Dentists, at least a few of whom are located near the UNIT in Chiang Mai....

Take care, Sir!

NOTE2:  I have not had a New York Pizza in about Five Decades.  I will not touch nothing less than an NYC pizza, or a Philly Cheesesteak....Once one has had the best, why touch the rest?

Depends on what pain meds they give you 😏🤣🤣🤣

IBUPROFEN....

But,  OF COURSE, I would not take IBUPROFEN if I were planning to drink beer, for very obvious reasons....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s for the inflammation. Not REAL pain meds 😉

Actually, ibuprofen is helpful for pain.

And, if you check the literature, pain meds such as paracetamol and ibuprofen work in different ways.

As for me, I love pain.

Therefore, I have no need for pain meds.

Still, as I mentioned, after multiple (3) dental (tooth) extractions, BEER is an URGENT adjunct to my therapy and fast recovery.

Beer is far better than ibuprofen.

Therefore, given the choice, I always reach for a cold one...

BUT, NOT TOO cold, since really cold drinks can also cause complications after tooth extraction.

Pot strength old scotch would at least help kill most of the bacteria 😉

Beer, not so much

If scotch, then it MUST be Irish Scotch, of course.

My budget will not allow it....alas.....

If it was urgent, you’d be back with an answer now.

Wait....

I AM back, as you can plainly see!

All I can do is to drink what is at the local SEVEN, for now.

But...then...

What about NEXT TIME?

I still have one more extraction to go....

Then, the implanting process shall begin.

Implants, if done right, will take about ONE YEAR.

I just hope I will live that long.

Would it not be the epitome of irony to have the implants installed, and then die before screwing on the prosthetics ?

I don’t think that would be through choice of beer.

If you are out screwing, I would not mention the prosthetics, unless your Thai is much better than mine.

ill give you a cookie and you'll forget all about the pain.

Kratom tea, for a good night's painless sleep.

A cookie laced with what, specifically?
